Thesol solar fluid is a non-toxic (unlike the mixture used for washer fluid, for example), non-freezing and environmentally friendly solar heat transfer fluid with a freezing point of -32°C. It is a solution of monopropylene glycol and contains corrosion inhibitors. It contains a bitter additive which protects against accidental ingestion when the heat exchanger leak is broken and penetrates the drinking water circuit. Not suitable for circuits containing galvanized materials. We recommend replacing the heat transfer fluid in the circuit at least every 8 to 10 years. The lifetime of the cartridge in a closed system is at least 8 years.
